PROFILE

“Architecture is my passion and calling. I believe architecture not only as a means to create beautiful spaces but also as a form of advocacy. Architects can shape buildings & landscapes and in turn, these buildings & landscapes can shape us. We live in a very critical time period where human advancement has become excessively detrimental to the environment. As professionals in the building sector, it is our responsibility to address this issue through sustainable practices and advocate for better building. Architecture, as it is historically in the past and forever onwards to the future, should be functional, sustainable and beautiful. If either one is missing, it cannot be called Architecture anymore. A building can be functional and beautiful but could ruin the environment by its own virtue of existing. Or it could be functional and sustainable but not inspire with its lack of creative beauty. A building with all three traits can inspire and uplift and that should be the main goal of architecture.”
